In Maine you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one if you plan to send it a receipt, so call your plan first and ask.

We are a self-pay practice, so we do not bill Medicare or other plans. After each visit you get a detailed receipt. Some plans reimburse out-of-network care and some do not; your plan decides.

That is how every visit works here. You pay on the day, and you get a written estimate before your first visit. The fees page explains what sets a fee.

A visit is a full hour, one-on-one, with a licensed physical therapist for all of it.

It depends on your goal, what your body is doing now and how often you practice between visits. We say what decides it, and we adjust as you go. We do not promise a number.

Clothes you can move in and shoes you can walk in. Bring any reports or scans you have and your questions.

Some movements can feel uncomfortable. We work within what you can tolerate, and you can say stop at any time.

Yes, in states where we are licensed. For now, that is Maine, and you need to be in Maine during the visit.

Tell us who your adjuster is. Your state decides who may direct your care. We do not bill workers' compensation or auto insurers; you pay us and get a detailed receipt.

Your therapist uses slow, controlled movement, steady breathing and attention to your trunk, hips and shoulders, on a reformer or a mat. It is physical therapy, not a class, and you do not need to have tried Pilates.
