A visit with one therapist

One-on-one hour

A full hour with a physical therapist who is working only with you. Visits after your evaluation build on your plan: movement, strength and hands-on care, adjusted each time.

This care is for you if…

  • You want your therapist's full attention

One person, one hour, no one else waiting on your therapist.

  • You like to understand each exercise

You learn why you are doing it, so you can do it well alone.

  • You have a plan and want it to change as you do

We adjust it each visit, not each month.

  • You are coming back after time away

We pick up from where you are now.

What a visit looks like

A full hour, one-on-one, with a physical therapist.

  1. 01

    Step 1: We catch up

How the last week went, and what changed.

  2. 02

    Step 2: We work

Movement, strength and hands-on care, planned for that day.

  3. 03

    Step 3: We plan

What to do before the next visit, and what to watch for.

What we do

Named plainly, with no promises about results.

  • Pilates-informed movement

Slow, controlled work for your trunk, hips and shoulders.

  • Strength work

Matched to your goal, built up in small steps.

  • Hands-on care

Where it helps, and as much as you are comfortable with.

  • Home program updates

Changed when you are ready, not on a calendar.

The practical parts

What decides how many visits

How you respond, how often you practice between visits and what you want to do next. We check in on this at every visit and say when we think it is time to space visits out or stop.

Who treats you

Delfina Zelaya, Devonte Carrington or Kamala Rai, each a licensed physical therapist in Maine. License details are at the foot of every page.

How it is paid for

You pay on the day. We tell you the fee on the phone before you book, and you get a written estimate before your first visit. We do not bill Medicare or other plans, and you get a detailed receipt after each visit.

When to see a doctor first

If something feels wrong that you cannot explain, call your doctor before you book. In an emergency, call 911.

Questions about this care

Do I need a referral?

In Maine you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one if you plan to send it a receipt, so call your plan first and ask.

Do I see the same therapist each time?

Whenever the schedule allows. Your plan and notes are shared among our three therapists, so a visit with another one still continues your care.

Will it hurt?

Some movements can feel uncomfortable. We work within what you can tolerate, and you can say stop at any time.
